Why We Fight is a platform for
Ukrainians to tell their stories of the war.
Good vs Evil
We are uniting the best creators of Ukraine and the West to tell the stories of ordinary Ukrainian superheroes. We will use art - beginning with a weaving series of short films - to deliver one message: Ukraine is fighting for humanity, and humanity always wins.
This fight is even more than the terrible war being waged on Ukraine every day. This is a war between a nation coming alive - as a whole greater than the sum of its parts - and a state that has been paralysed by weak inert leaders who would rather have their people weakened morally, spiritually, and economically than lose any of their absolutely corrupting power.
This is a fight that is as close to good vs evil as it gets, and one where the evil is trying its hardest to trick people into believing that it does not exist. It is trying to gaslight the world into seeing the evil as a victim, manipulating the freedom-loving people into doubting their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We will show, from different vantage points, that the evil is real, but that the good is stronger.
Every day the destruction and the number of victims is growing.
But Ukrainians will never give up.

The short films that we release will tell different stories of the fight, coming together to form a full-length production to be shown at festivals around the world, reminding everyone about the difference between human animals and human beings.
But this is just the beginning. We want all Ukrainians to be able to tell their stories of war, and all artists to be able to convey them. From poetry to music and even architecture, we will express the humanity that shines through the fight between good and evil.

We are beginning with the medium of film and story, and are developing a portal where all individuals can contribute their own unique perspective and share their emotional burden.

We know that Ukraine will be instrumental in helping the rest of the world after the war is won and the country is rebuilt.

Humanity always wins, and evil only triumphs when good people do nothing. Ukraine is fighting for its own liberty, but it is also taking on the evil of pathetic criminals who hold sway over Russia so that it does not spread any further. It is fighting for what the civilised world has always stood for, and with its help, will stand for evermore.
